Mass Processing in Advanced Project Management

There are several mass processing options that allow you to perform a process against multiple selected projects.

With each menu option, you can trigger the relevant process to run immediately, or you can add it to a schedule.

Mass Project Generate Accruals offers an alternative to APM Project Accruals Workbench for generating project accruals. Here you can generate for a whole set of filtered projects (for example, for all projects for a specific Customer).

To schedule Mass Project Generate Accruals:

  1. Navigate to Mass Project Generate Actuals (Advanced Project Management > General Operations > Mass Project Generate Actuals).

  2. Optionally filter by Project Manager, Project Director, Customer, Contract Manager and one or more Project IDs on the Filter card.

  3. All Overrides are selected by default and may not be de-selected:

    • Contract

    • Invoice

    • Spent And Costed

    • Cost To Complete

  4. Set the schedule on the Advanced card.

    To set the process schedule for any of the mass processes, fill in the details on the Advanced card in the application:

    1. Select a Schedule. Select Now if you want to run the process immediately.

      To schedule the process for a different time, select a different Schedule from the drop-down list. Schedules are maintained in the System Agent Maintenance screen in Standard Kinetic.

    2. For a scheduled process, select Recurring for the task to recur. This check box is available for any Schedule other than Now.

  5. Select Process ProcessIcon.

  6. When the project accruals have been generated, go to APM Project Accruals Workbench to view and process the new project accrual sets.
